Services: It is the responsibility of this department to treat patients requiring immediate medical attention like heart attack, bronchial asthma, renal colics, gastric problems, trauma and deliveries. The medical staffs are on duty 24-hours everyday to respond to these types of emergencies. Depending on the case, a patient first receives primary or urgent care, then admitted to the ward or referred to other departments for further diagnosis and observation. Clinical reaction time is fast and rapid with close inter-departmental collaboration.
The Emergency Department is equipped with modern machines and facilities like the latest defibrillator (for resuscitation), monitors, ECG, observation rooms and oxygen supplies.
